Educational Programmes – Central Bohemian Region – Providing Care for Preschool Age Children

The project´s basic idea is to secure timely care for children from a socially excluded environment or children in danger of exclusion and their families. The main goal of the project is to create a supportive environment for children using activities in such a way that they would be able to enrol into kindergarten and primary school without problems and help them remain there. Working with the family will then allow these children to grow up in a stimulating home environment, which is important for their further development.

The Centre is designated for children at the age of 2-10, who do not make use of standard preschool and school preparation. Using regular activities (preparing preschool children, tutoring schoolchildren) we strive for increasing the chance of these children to be included into the main educational stream. We want to increase their preparedness for successfully starting their education and help them remain in the main educational stream.

The project´s main goal is therefore to create a supporting environment for children using activities in such a way that they would be able to enrol into kindergarten and primary school without problems and help them remain there. Working with the family will then allow these children to grow up in a stimulating home environment, which is important for their further development. We want to balance their social and cultural handicap which their peers from a normal environment lack.

The project is possible thanks to the Agrofert Foundation.
