Field Programmes – Moravian-Silesian Region
- From the Ghetto to a Good Address
The main goal was to improve the quality of housing of families in danger of social exclusion in the Karviná District. 26 families will gain access to better housing thanks to the programme. We are targeting the users of our established field programme in socially excluded localities in Horní Suchá, Petřvald and Karviná. The housing situation of many of them can be labelled as unbearable and changing the state of affairs in this area as an absolute priority. We will emphasize individual support of individual families and stress the development of one´s own responsibility.
The project can be divided into three key activities: 1. Preparing and supporting workers to work with the target group, 2. Directly working with the target group, 3. Building the organization´s know how in the field of housing support. The project was being implemented from 1.12.2013 to 31.3.2015.
