Humanitarian Response, Protection and Recovery for Socially Excluded Ukrainian Roma

The project is funded by C&A through the COFRA Foundation

 

Aim of the project

  • To improve the situation of Roma men and women in socially excluded Roma communities in western Ukraine, especially in the area of basic human needs.
     

Who is the project for?

  • The project is addressed to socially excluded Roma men and women in Ukraine in the localities of Mukachevo, Perettin, Zarichevo. Residents in these localities often face difficulties in accessing basic needs such as sufficient food or drinking water.
  • The project particularly targets particularly vulnerable groups such as women, children, the elderly and the disabled.

 

What the project offers:

  • The project offers the above groups assistance with basic needs through regular monthly humanitarian aid trips. The humanitarian aid includes distribution of basic household food packages, hot meals through community cooking, as well as clothing, hygiene and school supplies.
