Building capacity for more effective cooperation. The Capacity Building for More Effective Cooperation project, reg. no.: CZ.03.2.63/0.0/0.0/20_137/0017062, was funded by the European Social Fund through the Operational Program Employment. Identifier: 1bLNU6P. The project aimed to strengthen the capacities of Roma and pro-Roma non-profit organizations associated with the RomanoNet association. The project aimed to enhance the efficiency of long-term cooperation among organizations to address societal challenges, achieved mainly through building capacities for effective cooperation. The project took place from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2022. Who was the project intended for? The target groups were non-governmental non-profit organizations whose predominant activity is providing social services according to the Social Services Act, striving for social inclusion and positive change in the living conditions of socially excluded individuals, especially Roma, supporting opportunities for their growth and social integration, protecting their rights and dignity within society, acting as creators and implementers of platforms between the Roma and non-Roma communities, or focusing on educational and cultural activities or projects aimed at increasing public awareness.
What the project offered
The purpose of the project was to, based on identified needs, interests, strengths, and opportunities of the organizations involved in the project:
- Support and develop joint efforts, direction, and resources in suitable ways and assist in achieving common goals to programmatic synergy of organizations, higher efficiency, and strengthening cooperation within organizations.
- Strengthen especially human resources/professional capacities and thus contribute to the sustainability of organizations and the expansion of their common activities.
- Improve capacities, motivation, performance, and increase the competitiveness of organizations.
- Strengthen the common commitment of organizations to cooperatively address connecting problems and threats more effectively and professionally.
- Enhance the quality of projects and the performance of organization employees.
- Strengthen dialogue with other organizations involved in the development of Roma and pro-Roma non-profit organizations.
