Social prevention services are increasingly needed. Due to current social and economic conditions, more and more people are finding themselves in complex life situations that they cannot solve on their own. At Romodrom, we help individuals facing social exclusion or at risk of social exclusion to reintegrate into mainstream society. We provide education and through combating prejudices and discrimination, we aim to achieve systemic change.

20 years of Romodrom in Žluté lázně

On September 5th, Romodrom celebrated its 20th birthday and it was a truly successful event. Over a thousand visitors arrived at the Žluté lázně relax area in Prague and the program was indeed rich. Bands such as Pefek Band, Sudetská pečeť, Buty, and Bengas performed on stage. Felix Slováček, Ferry B. also performed. The highlight of the evening was the performance of the audience's favorite, singer Jan Bendig.

On the occasion of the celebrations of November 17, the Concert for the Future took place at Wenceslas Square, attended by thousands of people. Dozens of artists and speakers performed. Part of the program of the five-hour event was dedicated by the organizers to the memory of the first Czech president, Václav Havel, whose death marks ten years this year. Our director, Nikola Taragoš, also addressed the crowd this year.

Car for SS in Budišov nad Budišovkou

Through the Bohumín branch of Romodrom o.p.s., a project called "Car for SS in Budišov nad Budišovkou" is being implemented in the Moravian-Silesian Region with its financial support, with sustainability until June 2022, responding to the needs of socially excluded individuals and those at risk of social exclusion.
