Center for Preschool and Extracurricular Education in Slaný

The main goal was to create a supportive environment for children through activities so that they could smoothly transition to kindergarten or primary school and help them stay there. The basic idea of the center was to provide early care for children from socially excluded backgrounds or children at risk of exclusion and their families. Working with the family allowed these children to grow up in a stimulating home environment, which is important for their further development.

The center was intended for children aged 2 - 10 years who did not utilize the usual opportunities for preschool and school preparation.

Within the center, the project Children's Clubs Romodrom Region in Slaný and the ongoing project Children's Group Slaný were implemented.

The purchase of didactic aids was supported by Citibank Foundation.
