Equipment and tools for DS Slaný, Hradčany, and Stříbro (Vinci Foundation)

The Romodrom o.p.s. organization, which operated 3 children's groups (DS Slaný, DS Hradčany, and DS Stříbro) as of 2023, received financial support from the Vinci Foundation for equipment and tools for Children's Groups, Slaný, Hradčany, and Stříbro in the amount of 80,000 CZK.


The project was implemented from April 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023.

Project goal:

All 3 of our children's groups were designated for a maximum of 12 children in 2023, cared for by 2 qualified caregivers. Starting in September 2023, we were forced to introduce a contribution from parents for financial sustainability (DS Slaný 2000 CZK/month, DS Hradčany 3000 CZK/month, and DS Stříbro 2500 CZK/month). However, it still applied that we were primarily for children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds. Families of these children were exempt from the contribution.

The provided financial amount was used in the following way:

Slaný:

  • Children's playground equipment (Swings and fence)
  • Soap cabinet
  • Blinds for doors (providing darkness and privacy while children sleep after lunch)
  • Stackable cots
  • Lockable cabinet
  • Montessori aids
Hradčany:

  • Equipment for outdoor spaces (swing, small table, climbing frames)
  • Printer
  • Didactic aids for speech and graphomotor development, toys
  • 1 travel crib
  • 2 dining chairs
  • Art supplies
  • Bedding and curtains
  • Boxes for bedding
Stříbro:

  • Dishwasher
  • Children's playground
