The project aimed to expand social work with clients within the Social Activation Service (SAS) and provide effective assistance to families with children facing difficult life situations.
We organized 5 family conferences. This is a method of social work where the family and other individuals around the family (relatives, neighbors, friends, community representatives, etc.) come together to collectively find solutions to family problems, ensuring the child's safety and strengthening relationships and the skills of family members.
Furthermore, within the project, we were able to provide clients with individual or group psychotherapeutic assistance. Counseling was provided by a professionally trained social worker (therapist) in a discreet and free environment. The most common issues addressed were related to parenting, relationships, self-harm, and bullying.
