Service Mission: Advocating for the rights and integration of individuals at risk of social exclusion

Service Goals

The primary goal of the social service is social inclusion, or rather, alleviating the impacts of social exclusion in the daily lives of social service clients. The ideal outcome is the removal of causes and consequences, thus overall liberation from social exclusion.

Who is the service for?

individuals living in socially excluded communities
individuals leading a risky way of life or are endangered by this way of life
ethnic minorities

The service is provided to individuals over 18 years old from the ORP Slaný and ORP Rakovník areas.

Housing

eg. assistance with housing search, communication with landlords, legal advice

Employment

For example, assistance and support in finding suitable employment, help with resume writing, interview practice

Social benefits

For example, support with communication with the labor office, assistance with filling out applications

Family law

For example, maintenance obligation, proposal for child custody, handling of alimony

Education and Training

eg. communication with the school, mediation of follow-up care

Discrimination

For example, directing to legal aid, communication with the ombudsman

Consumer protection

Support and education

Criminal law

For example: legal aid mediation, cooperation and mediation of probation and mediation services, assistance with erasing a criminal record from the register

Social health counseling

For example: arranging follow-up care, assistance in finding a general practitioner

How does mutual cooperation work?

We will introduce you to the options and rules of our service.
We will discuss what you need and explore your current situation, abilities, and possibilities in relation to the specific issue.
Together, we will come up with a possible proposal to solve the situation.

Respect for the individual

The service is provided to users free of charge, clients are guided towards independence, the worker approaches each individual individually considering their needs, possibilities, resources, social situation, and personal plans.

Fairness

The client's decision in choosing a solution to the situation is fully respected by the employees, the service workers provide their assistance to users independently and inform clients that they do not have the competencies of a state employee.

Impartiality

The employee does not show favoritism when dealing with clients, applying an equal approach to everyone.

Expertise

Employees meet the professional qualification requirements according to Act No. 108/2006 Coll., on social services, and continuously educate themselves.
