- From the Ghetto to a Good Address
The main goal was to improve the housing conditions of families at risk of social exclusion in the Karviná district; thanks to the program, 26 families obtained better housing. We targeted users of our established field program in socially excluded areas in Horní Suchá, Petřvald, and Karviná. The housing situation of many of them could be described as unbearable, and a change in this area was deemed absolutely essential. We emphasized individual support for each family and highlighted the development of their own responsibility.
The project could be divided into three key activities:
- Preparation and support of workers for working with the target group,
- Direct work with the target group,
- Building the organization's know-how in the area of housing support.
