Help for victims of illegal sterilizations

Project goal:

The aim of the project is to support the social inclusion of marginalized Roma communities, reduce their social exclusion, and improve their access to basic services. The project focuses on strengthening individual competencies and improving the living conditions of these individuals.

The organization Romodrom, o.p.s. will support a minimum of 40 women in the project, providing comprehensive assistance in processing their compensation claims. At least 20 legal appeals ("challenges") or other legal actions (court cases) in the compensation process.


Who is the project for?

  • Roma women who believe they are victims of illegal sterilizations in accordance with the definition of Act No. 297/2021 Coll.


What we offer:

  • comprehensive counseling for victims of unlawful sterilizations who are in the process of processing compensation claims;
  • provision of legal support.


Operating hours:

  • office meeting by appointment with a staff member,
  • travel distance by prior arrangement according to the place of destination 2 - 3 hours.
