HouseInc - Inclusive, affordable and sustainable housing for marginalized communities

The aim of the international project HouseInc is to use innovative methodology for in-depth analysis of interconnected dimensions of housing inequalities in the context of marginalized communities.

Implementation from 1.2.2024 to 31.1.2027.

The project is funded by the European Commission. It is implemented from 1.2.2024 to 31.1.2027.

What the project does:

The project examines economic, social, and environmental factors and evaluates the impacts of various indicators on housing inequalities in order to create policy recommendations that will support the adoption of effective measures to address housing inequalities across Europe. Through transdisciplinary collaboration, the project develops innovative social, financial, and digital solutions that can be scaled up, contributing to better socio-economic and sustainable integration of vulnerable groups on a European scale.
The project connects and explores the interrelationships between different types of housing inequalities focusing on energy poverty, mobile poverty, job opportunities, family and sociodemographic conditions at the micro, meso, and macro levels. The uniqueness of the project lies in the connection of a multidisciplinary team involving researchers, non-governmental organizations, economists, architects, and others. This connection offers a unique comprehensive view of poverty and housing inequalities.
