The Housing First Písek project, reg. no. CZ.03.02.01/00/22_101/0001048, is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Program Employment Plus.
Project goal:
The main goal of the project is to help people acquire and maintain stable housing. It is not just about finding an apartment, but primarily about creating a home and improving the overall life situation of the supported individuals.
The organization Romodrom, o. p. s. will provide standard housing for at least 15 households from Písek and its surroundings as part of the project. The project lasts for 3 years and is focused on socially excluded individuals or individuals at risk of social exclusion, who may also face other issues (such as addiction, mental illness, etc.).
Who is the project intended for:
• homeless individuals,
• people living in inadequate or insecure accommodation.
What does the project offer?
We help in areas such as:
Support for 15 selected participants
The selection is based on the need determined by the anamnesis questionnaire.
Individual housing plan
We will create a plan that will help the client successfully adapt to their new home.
Selection of a suitable apartment
Together with the participant, we select available housing in the preferred location that meets their financial and personal requirements.
Preparation for moving
Agreement on energy, familiarization with house rules, and planning individual steps of the move.
Support after relocation
Regular visits to the apartment, rent and energy payments check, solving issues with the apartment owner or neighbors.
Working with a family budget
Help with managing money, preventing debt and loss of housing.
Motivation for work activities
If the health condition allows.
Support in other areas of life
Inclusion in the community, working on relationships, addressing loneliness
