Housing First Písek+

The Housing First Písek project, reg. no. CZ.03.02.01/00/24_064/0005373, is co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Employment Plus Operational Program. It is implemented from June 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028.

Project Goal:

The main goal of the project is to help people acquire and maintain stable housing. It's not just about finding a place to live, but primarily about creating a home and improving the overall life situation of the supported individuals.

Within the project, the Romodrom organization will provide standard housing for at least 12 new households and 4 transitioning from the previous project in Písek and its surroundings. The project lasts for 2 years and focuses on socially excluded individuals or those at risk of social exclusion, who may also face other issues (such as addiction, mental illness, etc.).

Housing First combines comprehensive support for individuals experiencing housing crisis with a system of guarantees for property owners, ensuring regular rent payments and relieving them of administrative burdens. This approach is based on extensive professional experience and data demonstrating high success rates in housing socially vulnerable households. Details of potential collaboration between the property owner and the project implementer can be discussed during a non-binding meeting.

Who is the project intended for:

• individuals experiencing homelessness,
• people living in inadequate or insecure housing.

Support for 12 new households

Selection is based on the needs determined by the anamnestic questionnaire.

Individual Housing Plan

We will create a plan to help the client successfully adapt to their new home.

Selection of a suitable apartment

Together with the participant, we select available housing in the preferred location that meets their financial and personal requirements.

Preparation for moving

Agreement on utilities, familiarization with house rules, and planning individual steps of the move.

Support after relocation

Regular visits to the apartment, rent and utilities payment checks, resolving issues with the apartment owner or neighbors.

Working with the family budget

Assistance with managing money, preventing debt, and avoiding housing loss.

Motivation for work

If the health condition allows.

Support in other areas of life

Integration into the community, working on relationships, addressing loneliness.
