Bydlím, bydlíš, bydlíme
The Bydlím, bydlíš, bydlíme Project - Písek, reg. no. CZ.03.2.60/0.0/0.0/16_052/0011248 was financed by the European Social Fund, Operational Program Employment.
The aim of the project was to accommodate individuals living in shelters, hostels, and other unfavorable housing conditions in the available free market apartments and help them maintain these apartments. The project was based on the idea that when a person has a place to live, they subsequently have greater competencies and motivation to address other unfavorable life situations, such as debt resolution, employment market realization, etc.

- individuals living in socially excluded areas.
What did the project offer? Creation of an individual housing plan - mapping housing needs and preferences - household size, desired location, financial conditions + specific requirements (accessibility, etc.); aligning expectations - what is realistic and what is not, conducting financial analysis of household income and expenses with the beneficiary, setting up a household budget, identifying any debts and recommending solutions, setting up repayment schedules, encouraging saving for future housing deposit, motivating finding employment to increase income, ensuring the beneficiary is properly supported, building additional housing competencies - assistance with communication and cleanliness, support for non-conflict behavior, motivation for client proactivity, searching for housing on the open real estate market - with the help of a real estate specialist, finding tailored offers, apartment viewings, preparing applications for municipal or social housing; in case of acute housing crisis, assistance in finding temporary housing, checking the lease agreement, assistance with moving, furnishing the apartment, meeting neighbors, familiarizing with the lease regulations, post-relocation assistance - advising on setting the ideal utility payments to avoid underpayment, supporting communication with the landlord, resolving conflicts or underpayments, assistance in maintaining the new housing - supporting the beneficiary in housing competencies and other areas of life, building neighborly relationships, integrating into the new community.
