PREROD

The PREROD project was funded for 2021 by a grant from the City of Prague for crime prevention.

The main goal of the project was to prevent the recidivism of individuals released from imprisonment and their successful reintegration into society with concurrent support from the family system.

A direct care worker worked individually with the person before release and with the family. They conducted motivational interviews, provided social counseling, and other support to facilitate the released person's return to the family and reduce the risks of the family's socio-economic decline.

The service was aimed at individuals who actually live and have a family in the territory of the City of Prague and families of individuals living in the City of Prague and in imprisonment in:

• Vinařice Prison,
• Oráčov,
• Příbram,
• Pardubice,
• or Světlá nad Sázavou.
