Provision of information and assistance to refugees from Ukraine II (OPZ)

This project was funded by the Operational Programme Employment Plus and co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic.

Project goal:

The aim of the project was to minimize the risks of conflicts in society, unsuccessful integration, and social exclusion of refugees, especially Roma from Ukraine. We provided counseling and assistance, helping refugees access necessary services and successfully integrate into society.


Who was the project intended for:

  • Ukrainian refugees with temporary protection status in the Czech Republic;
  • primarily for Roma people from Ukraine, but also for ethnic Ukrainians;
  • individuals whose temporary protection status has expired, but still legally reside in the Czech Republic.


What did the project offer?

  • help with securing basic life needs (e.g. housing, healthcare, education, employment);
  • assistance with integration into society - support in addressing various life situations, such as:


Communication with authorities
Processing documents, requests, and social benefits
Health care

Registration at the doctor, access to medication and specialized care.

Housing
Help with finding stable and secure accommodation.
Employment
Support when entering the job market.
The project focused on long-term support for refugees and their successful integration into society.
