Refugees helping refugees - support for the employment of arrivals from Ukraine at Romodrom, o. p. s.

The project was implemented from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

Project Goal:

The project aimed to support the integration of war refugees from Ukraine, especially those who were particularly vulnerable (such as individuals of Roma ethnicity, single mothers, or individuals with health or social disadvantages). The project targeted both holders of temporary protection and individuals whose status had expired but who continued to reside in the Czech Republic and were in unfavorable social situations.

The goal was to employ and enhance the qualifications of individuals from Ukraine so that we could effectively and flexibly assist other refugees in their integration. An additional project objective was to facilitate adaptation to life in Czech society through social support, community work, interpretation, and professional assistance. This helped prevent social exclusion and strengthen the independence of the clients.

Activities:

  1. community work,
  2. interpretation services,
  3. employee training
