The project We help victims of illegal sterilizations was implemented from 1. 7. to 31. 12. 2024 with financial support from the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic. Project goal:

The aim of the project was to help victims of illegal sterilizations in processing their compensation claims under Act No. 297/2021 Coll. The organization Romodrom, o.p.s., provided within its framework:

support to at least 30 individuals in filing compensation claims;
assistance to at least 44 individuals who have already submitted claims and need further help.

Who was the project intended for?

Individuals sterilized unlawfully between July 1, 1966, and March 31, 2012, who meet the conditions set by Act No. 297/2021 Coll.

Help with preparing an application

Collecting evidence, filling out forms, and submitting an application

Monitoring status of requests

Monitoring and assistance with communication with the Ministry of Health.

Support during management

From submitting the application to the decision on granting or not granting compensation.

Help in case of rejection

Mediation of contact with legal support for potential filing of dissolution or lawsuit in administrative justice.
