Important information for compensation applicants!

Unlawful sterilization is considered one that was performed without the informed consent of the victim. Unfortunately, this type of sterilization was quite common not only under the previous regime, but also among Romani women. If you or someone in your surroundings has encountered it, you are entitled to compensation. However, applications can only be submitted until the end of this year, so do not hesitate!

This type of sterilization was unfortunately quite common not only under the previous regime, and not only among Romani women. If you or someone in your surroundings has encountered it, you are entitled to compensation. However, applications can only be submitted until the end of this year, so do not hesitate!
Some of you may have come across the great news that a proposal to extend the deadline for filing compensation claims for unlawful sterilizations by another 2 years has been submitted. However, the proposal has not yet been approved, so it cannot be relied upon.

WARNING! Requests for compensation must be delivered by 2.1.2025 to the Ministry. The proposal to extend the sterilization law has not yet been approved, so it cannot be relied upon! Conversely, evidentiary materials and legal arguments can be submitted even after the new year.
