Students of the gymnasium donated a financial gift to Romodrom

On Friday, May 5 in the afternoon, a charity Zatlaswap for Romodrom took place in the Community Space Smíchov. Swap is a sustainable way to get rid of unnecessary but functional things and, on the other hand, enrich oneself with something nice that someone else no longer had a use for. Clothing was mainly exchanged at Zatlaswap. Participants brought their unnecessary items and after paying the entrance fee, they could choose something from the items brought by someone else. The sunny swapping afternoon was carried out in a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere. To the sounds of music, participants could not only try on and choose clothes, but also enjoy a cup of coffee from the local great café. Romodrom also contributed to the program with a presentation of their photos. The entire proceeds from the entrance fee were decided to be donated to Romodrom by Zatlanka. And why us? The idea of ​​turning the swap market into a charity event attracted students, and they were looking for a local non-profit organization to support. They were approached by the activities of Romodrom, and because we are almost neighbors with Zatlanka, it was clear. However, not everything was taken by the participants of the event, and a few boxes of clothing were then handed over to us by the students. These boxes did not stay with us for long, as we immediately took them to Ukraine, where we help in selected areas. The event thus gained another dimension. Many thanks to Zatlanka for the generous financial donation and to the Community Space Smíchov for the space where the whole event took place.
