The new Romodrom project increases the professionalism of employees

Romodrom provides social services and implements projects to support people at risk of social exclusion for 22 years. Last year, due to the war conflict in Ukraine, we decided to get involved in helping refugees, specifically Roma. The new form of assistance also brought an expansion of the organization with a new international team and strengthening of the existing Czech team.
In order to be able to respond to the growth of the organization, to all the requirements that international donors have on us, to maintain and increase the quality of services provided and ensure the continuity of ongoing projects, we must pay special attention to these topics. Therefore, since August 2023, we have launched a two-year project Building the Capacity of the Romodrom organization o.p.s. (reg. no. CZ.03.02.03/00/22_042/0001469), funded through the Operational Program Employment plus the European Union. Within the project, three key activities will take place, with the first focusing on systematizing and updating the organization's internal documents and strategic planning. The second activity will focus on the training of newly incoming employees through the so-called internal academy and also on enhancing the managerial competencies of the organization's leadership. The third activity aims to create a sustainable fundraising strategy for the new foreign section of Romodrom.

The Romodrom website will soon be available in English!

Until now, information about Romodrom's services and activities was mostly only available in Czech. However, some of our activities involve people from outside the Czech Republic, and some of our partners are based abroad. Therefore, we have decided to translate the entire romodrom.cz website into English. As well as providing information about projects, it will offer an overview of services and contacts for branches, which is similar to what visitors are accustomed to on the Czech version of the portal.

Help for families and children in housing crisis. Romodrom launches the collection "Home is not a given"

PRAGUE, 3 December 2025 - Support for families, single parents, and other people in housing need. That is the goal of the public collection "Home is not a given", launched on Tuesday by the non-governmental non-profit organization Romodrom to support its Safe Home Fund. It aims to provide school supplies for children and basic household items to at-risk families. The three-week online campaign is based on long-term successful housing projects, through which just last year, with expert support, over a hundred families achieved dignified housing.
